EMS vehicle checks are federally mandated under the Department of Transportation and required by most state EMS agencies. Although check requirements can vary from state to state, most cover the components of your rig that are essential to safety.

The truth is, not much has changed with vehicle checks over the last several decades. It's one of those processes that you must do. It's part of the job. It takes time and can be inconvenient, but it's mandatory. To use the module, users will open their vehicle’s profile and start their daily inspection list. The list includes fields for exterior condition, equipment checks, and more. When a check is complete, the app records the completion and results sync to the agency’s admin portal.

That means, with a quick glance, you can see what's passing, what's failing, and what needs maintenance if a problem is discovered and logged (for example, “siren not functioning” or “low oil level”), it can be flagged for maintenance or immediate follow-up, rather than discovered days later.

As with our narcotics tracking, the module helps cut back on redundancy and the time spent on paper forms. It also gives leadership the real-time visibility they need to confirm fleet readiness at any time.
